The Ares Series presents the pinnacle and most advanced direct drive racing wheel base for Sim Racing

Conspit Ares 10Nm Direct Drive Wheel Base

The CONSPIT Ares Series Sim-racing Wheelbase is designed for sim racers who seek the ultimate competitive experience. Equipped with a high-precision skew-pole direct-drive motor specifically developed for sim racing and a deeply optimized high-performance force feedback system, it delivers an unprecedented realistic driving experience with highly detailed tactile feedback.

Superior Performance

  • Utilizing high-performance unsymmetric dual processors at 170MHz+168MHz to ensure efficient and stable calculations.
  • The Ares series direct-drive system uses industry-leading high-precision optical encoders with an angular resolution of less than 0.01° and a bit resolution of 23-bit, ensuring every subtle steering input is accurately captured.
  • With a 20 million RPM military-grade slip ring, signal transmission is stable and without delay, avoiding common electromagnetic interference issues found in Bluetooth or 2.4G wireless communication.

Masterful Control

  • The Ares series base features a leading motor control system, providing excellent stability, efficiency, and positional accuracy during force feedback torque output.
  • Torque response performance of up to 9.5Nm/ms ensures that any high-frequency details are fully displayed.

 Professional-grade Force Feedback Algorithm

  • In collaboration with Open FFBoard, a deeply customized force feedback algorithm developed and iteratively optimized by professional racing drivers and experienced vehicle dynamics engineers, Ares' force feedback system highly simulates real vehicle dynamics and road surface detail feedback, delivering an ultimate control experience.

Specialised for the Task

  • Unlike competitors that directly use industrial servo motors, the motor structure of the Ares base is forward-developed from scratch to optimise the unique demands of sim racing for handling, steering feedback, and stability. Key parameters such as torque response, torque ripple, and cogging torque, which significantly affect the subjective feel, have been specifically optimised to achieve the fastest, smoothest, and most precise tactile feedback.
    Dual Skewed Pole Design
  • Using a dual skewed pole design with both stator and rotor skewed poles, this optimises cogging torque, significantly reducing torque ripple, electromagnetic vibration, and noise, resulting in excellent NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) performance.
    Ultra-High Torque Density
  • Compact size, immense power. Utilising ultra-high magnetic permeability cores and powerful NdFeB magnets, along with optimal air gap ratio and high slot fill factor design, this motor achieves high torque density and delivers powerful output.
    Excellent Torque Ripple
  • After multiple simulations and prototype iterations, we have developed the optimal electromagnetic solution. Through dual skewed pole design of stator and rotor, high slot-pole matching, optimal air gap ratio, and precise magnetic circuit design, we have achieved ultra-low torque ripple, ensuring incredibly smooth steering feel.
    Advanced Thermal Management
  • Real-time high-frequency monitoring of the entire system’s temperature ensures stable operation of the motor and its control system, providing excellent thermal management performance.

 Innovative Industrial Design

  • Utilizing a visually lightweight design language, the compact and sleek profile delivers a multi-angle core aesthetic experience, exceeding both visual and performance expectations.

Winning with Details

High-quality Materials

  •  The main body uses high-grade aerospace aluminum alloy, ensuring robustness and durability.

Efficient Heat Dissipation

  • Proven heat dissipation design ensures reliability even in long-distance and endurance races.

Advanced Manufacturing Techniques

  • Employing multiple forming, machining, and surface treatment processes for superior texture.

POGO Module

  • The front of the base features magnetic contacts designed for future expansion and quick installation of various functional components.

 High Safety Design

  • A unique safety mode ensures driver safety while also allowing children to play safely under parental supervision.

Conspit Link 2.0

  • Quickly configure base functions, monitor status, and create custom presets in the Conspit Link 2.0 software.
  • Official presets crafted by professional drivers and experienced vehicle dynamics engineers allow for quick switching based on different games or vehicle combinations, with pro special presets coming soon.

CDP Quick Release

  • Unlike the common ball-type single locking structures on the market, the CDP quick release introduces the clasp + ball design of real Formula racing cars. The entire structure is CNC machined from 7075 aluminium alloy, with the clasp structure responsible for transmitting torque. Topologically optimised to meet high strength requirements, the balls provide longitudinal positioning without bearing torque load, fundamentally solving the wear problems of traditional ball-type quick releases, ensuring zero play even after prolonged use.
  • The electrical connection between the steering wheel and the base is achieved through spring contacts inside the quick release, ensuring stable and reliable plug-and-play functionality.
